About NIS Computers Grade 8

This website is for Grade 8 Students at Nakornpayap International School in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Grade 8 Computers is a Level II course.  Students work on building a foundation in using computers.  The major components of the course are:

• Drawing in 3D
• Spreadsheets Level II
• Web Authoring
• Programming
• Animation in 3D

After Grade 8, students may take more computer courses.  Presently,  Level I, Level II and Level III courses are available.

Our labs at Nakornpayap International School are comprised of new high end business computers.  All our software is licensed.  We use Microsoft products, other proprietary applications as well as free and open source solutions.

Our courses comply to the latest ISTE National Education Technology Standards.
